Summer pictures

Here are some pictures from this summer. I may have already posted some of these, but I just got them all moved over to my computer and organized.
The many faces of Libby. I caught many different faces that Libby makes now on camera at various times! It's so fun to see her using her facial expressions to express what she's thinking. And she has a lot now!
I love this one! Relaxing in the pool. She's got a bit of a smirk going on.
Just happy to be outside and wet.
Not too happy about something. I tell you one thing, she knows how to work that lower lip!
Love her laughing smiles!
This one is cute, I wonder what she was thinking? It's kind of a blond expression.
So cute!
This is her "funny" face. She drops thos eyebrows and crunches her nose.
It's nice I can now take a shower without her screaming her head off. She finds other ways to amuse herself during my showers now....
Do you think she knows she did something wrong?
But how can you resist this sweet face?
We went to the cabin a little while ago with Scott and Ash and I brought my camera on the boat for once. Got some good wakeboarding shots. I need to crop and zoom on some of these to get them better, but here they are in their raw form.
Matt. He's starting to get some good air and has cleared the wake many times now!

Libby, enjoying being on the boat. It took a few minutes for her to adjust, she was a bit scared at first. Then she just relaxed in Aunt Boo's arms.
Scott, the pro, puts all of us to shame. Here he is pulling a few tantrums. And landing them all!
I think he might be flying in this one. :)
Couldn't ask for a better background for this!
Take off.
Landing.
Mid-flight.
Libby trying not to get dirty on the beach. I don't know whose child this is. She's not too fond of the sand because it's dirty!
We found this cool moth there. It was huge!

We watched Gavin a little while back while Allyson went for a baby check-up. Libby love her frineds. I think Gavin has had just about enough of all this hugging stuff.
"Save me!" -Gavin
We played outside for a little while. This was back when it was actually nice outside, not a blazing 90-100 degrees!
Libby making some more of her classic faces.
Riding in the wagon. They sure love their wagons!
Libby loves playing in the hose! Here she was at Nana's house helping her plant flowers. Maggie was there and Libby had a blast trying to spray her. This was the start of her true belly laugh that we get to hear much more often now, but not often enough!
I love the look of pure joy on a child's face!
Libby loves her new baby cousin, Hudson. She'll have another one in the next couple of months!
She loves babies in general, but there are a few that she adores! Hudson and Judah are two of them. She sees them from far off at church and gets excited.
She's usually very good with them, as long as you remind her to be gentle. She loves holding their hands and kissing them.
Here she is with Hudson on the couch.
So cute!!

Marriott World Center and misc. at home

The last two nights of our vacation were spent at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. What a wonderful topper to a great vacation! It was so fun to relax by one of the many pools and then be able to return to a nice clean room. This place was awesome, and I guarantee we will return some time! It has over 2,000 rooms and 6 pools, including several kiddie pools as well as 3 hot tubs. They have waterfalls coming into the pools. It is a georgeous resort on a golf course! Unfortunately, the guys didn't get a chance to golf there. Maybe next time.
Here is Libby learning to walk in the water of the kiddie pool. It took a little coaxing to get her comfortable enough to realise she could walk in it.

Fun times in the kiddie pool! :)

Our family.
The hotel from the pool area.
One of the pools with a waterfall. There is a hot tub behind the waterfalls.

We went horseback riding with the Plewniaks a couple days ago and had a blast! I wasn't able to take too many pics as I was manning the horse. When we got home, Libby wanted to try on my boots. I thought it was so cute, I had to pull out the camera!
She is making her "funny" face in the picture below. It looks like a mad face, but she usually has a smile when she's making it. Then she rolls her eyes upward and makes me laugh! Maybe I shouldn't be encouraging grumpy faces and rolling her eyes, but I guess I'll have to deal with the attitudes she starts associating with them later.
My little cowgirl!

She got a vanity/writing desk from some friends of ours in Florida and is loving it. It was perfect timing, Thanks Mrs. Williams! She loves to sit in chairs her size, so she loved this!
I had her do her "schoolwork" today, drawing a picture!
Here she is hard at work...
I guess she was trying to explain to me what she was drawing.

Still trying to explain it. :) Love those lips!
Her drawing, made all by herself!

That's it for now. Hopefully I'll be able to get a hold of a couple more horse pictures. Also, more vacation pics to come when I get some time. Until then, it's off to the Splash Pad to enjoy these warm, sunny days! Maybe that will be another post for later. :) Will I ever catchup?

Sunsets, family pics, low country boil and the beach...

...could you ask for a better vacation?
Here are the first set of pics from our vacation to Florida. Our home computer is not up yet so these are from the laptop, which takes FOREVER! None of these pictures have yet been edited, which I'm hoping to get into a little more when our computer is up and running.
I didn't actually get down to the beach for one sunset the whole time, but I did catch a few from the boardwalk area. Here is one from Matt and I's date night at a nice restaurant across from the beach where the food was delicious!
A sailboat went across the horizon just at the right time.

Here are a couple of sunset pics from Frenchy's on the beach.

Here are a few samplings of our family pics that we got while in Clearwater. The colors are amazing! I think I'll be able to add some cool effects to these with Photoshop.

Love the shadow in the one below.

We had a low country boil on the rooftop of our townhouse while there. Some of our cousins were able to join us and we had a blast. It was the best low county boil I've ever eaten!
The spread.
We ate right at sunset, so it was beautiful. A storm cloud threatened to roll in, but decided not to at the last minute, wheew.
Libby, loving the crab! :)
Whoa, did I eat all of that?!
Where did it all go?
Hanging out on the beach. Libby wasn't too fond of the water at first because of the waves, or the sand because it was dirty, but she got used to both and loved it!
Daddy and Libby!
Libby and her chair, which she loved!

A sand turtle that Scott and Nicole made. It was awesome!
The sunset from our rooftop during the low county boil. Does it get any better than this? I daresay it doesn't. Just a step away from heaven and a glimpse of God's glory.
The vacation was a success! We had a wonderful time and it was very relaxing and fun! It was definitely inching for the top of my favorite vacation list and comes in close behind the honeymoon and our cruise with Matt's family. Thanks to God for the blessing and opportunity to vacation with family! It's definitely different with a little girl and going with family eased the burden of constantly watching a toddler a lot. Also, sharing the burden of cooking and cleaning made the vacation more enjoyable. Not to mention always having someone around to hang out with! More pictures and stories to come!
