Mini photo shoot with Bella

Took some pictures of Bella tonight. 7 weeks old. Wanted to get some of her asleep, but she woke up right away and was very alert and happy. She is so sweet and has been sleeping through the night for a couple weeks now. Or at least sleeping 8 hours in a row. Now she's sleeping from 8 or 9 o'clock till 7:30 or 8. She's so happy and easy all the time and is such a joy for our family.

I love this one!

This one is great too.

She's so long!

Love these sweet feet!
So happy!
And of course the kids wanted to get in on the action. I want to take some pictures of them soon, too.

Maybe my favorite, even with the crooked letters and chubby face!

12-24-13: Christmas Bella

I had this precious gift under my Christmas tree this year. Saw some pics like this on Facebook. I need to take a photography class and a photo editing class to get good at taking pics. In the meant ime, at least I'll have this documented. Love her!

Nana's Cabin in June

Went to Nana's cabin (maybe for the last time:( ) in June and had a great time hanging with the family and relaxing!

Here we braved the snake-filled beach! We saw a 3 or 3 1/2 foot Copperhead repeatedly and at least 1 of it's babies. I think it had a den under the dock. Finally, after much deliberation and snake repellent, we had to at least let them play on the beach and make a sand castle once. With a warry eye on the dock and one on the water and a shovel available (in the background) we let them have some fun in the sun.

Goofy as always!

Beautiful, as always!

Love this pretty girl!

Crazy hair (that needed to be cut):

Libby caught her first fish, well, the first fish that she helped catch from start to finish (we've let her reel a couple in before). She helped put the bread on the hook, then snagged it and reeled it in. She did not, however, want to hold it. :)

Oh, sweet memories of fishing from this dock as a kid with Dad and Papa. So glad for the opportunity for my kids to be able to build the same memories!!

Ty's first catch (well, his first fish reeled in).

A true fisherman pose. :)

Florida 3: Just hangin

Going up the glass elevators at the World Center. So fun!

Love these pictures of cousins!

Ty is a little adventurer! He loved exploring the bushes. :)

Florida 2: Nana's 80th Birthday Party!

On Saturday night we celebrated Nana turning 80! It was a sweet night of fellowship, honoring Nana and hearing some fun stories about her, and dancing the night away. She is such a wonderful woman, I wish we lived closer so we could spend more time with her! She has 6 children, 26 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren (which will be 17 by the end of the year!). What a wonderful legacy!!
Our table for dinner.

Our neighboring table.

Cousin kisses. I love how much Ty loves his cousins! He is so sweet with babies and loves to hold, hug and kiss them as much as Libby. Must get it from me. :)

Here is mu handsome boy all duded up for the party: Love him!

Libby was so excited to wear her new dress she helped pick out for the party.
Here's the kiddos in their fancy clothes (as Libby would put it). She loves dressing up!
 With Hudson:
 My pretty girl.
The kids playing on the dance floor. Libby seems so old to me when I see her interacting with her little second cousins. She loves Adaya! And we love it when they visit!

Don't think she knows what to think about all this attention from other kids!
Sweet Libby, Adaya and my cousin Melanie (who flew in with her husband from Guatemala just for this one night!).
 Sweet girl.

Let the dancing begin. Loved Ty nad Annie dancing together!
And Libby shakin' it in the background! :)

Matt and Libby, love this pic!

Unfortunately didn't get any pictures of our family before the dancing started (and Ty lost the vest and tie and I got all sweaty) so we didn't get any great family shots. :( Oh well, this will have to do:
